Abstract
This is a memoir that addresses cumulative experiences from early childhood through adulthood, with the purpose of gaining a better understanding of a person's life through comprehensive reflection. We often have little or no control over our existence. Everything happens for a reason, good or bad. These experiences have culminated into womanhood, allowing more clarity and a full appreciation for each. Giving up or changing courses on one's own is always an option and there are times when one feels like doing just that. The truth of the matter is we all have had our moments. Most of us never would have made it this far had we tried to take matters into our own hands. Had we tried, we would have likely met more disastrous paths than the ones we have traveled. Nevertheless, it is our experiences that mold us into the people we are to become.
