Abstract
The Jigsaw Man is a personal nonfiction narrative that examines modern American manhood. The author uses personal anecdotes and popular media to discuss manhood as experienced by his generation and those younger, the so-called "preadults" of Generations X, Y, and beyond. This thesis was written as part of the author's preparation for a book proposal, which would expand upon the themes and stories in this thesis.
