Abstract
This thesis covers the history of the Maumelle Ordnance Works from its creation to its eventual shutdown in the 1950’s. It goes into detail on the buildings of the plant along with the materials that the plant manufactured for use in the Second World War. This thesis also covers the early history of the community of Maumelle.
