Abstract
The goal of this thesis is to present international relations in a way to be easily accessible. It is not intended to be a deep, comprehensive analysis of the events leading up to World War II. It is made up of two major components: a game and a paper. The main portion is a tabletop game that puts four players in control of some of the major world powers from the World War II era. The secondary element is the following paper encompassing a primary source review, secondary source review, and a description of the game development process. The primary and secondary source reviews examine some of the motivations and policies around Japan’s Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere.
