Abstract
The foundation of self-awareness is experience, reflection and life knowledge, which I develop into an artistic concept. The works are a balance of a fluid connection between my meditative inner dialog, materials and tools. This intuitive dialog guides the process from concept to completion. My studies in art history - particularly in modern and contemporary art - have enriched my own artistic practice and compelled me to think in new ways. I strive to communicate complex thoughts about my past and the world into works of art. Art making is an expansion of my ideas, thoughts, and understanding of my emotional responses to life.
