Abstract
This project reviews Isocrates' defense of the charges brought against him in the Antidosis. The central claim is that the charges he lists are perceived criticisms of him and his educational program presented in Plato's Phaedrus. This project attempts to connect Isocrates' defense of those charges with passages from the Phaedrus to which it seems he is replying.
